MidoTech CEO and all around beacon of hope Lara Stryer has been reported missing in the last 24 hours. She was last seen boarding the //Slipstream//.

On Earth, Lara was well known for being kidnapped by the wretched villain Darwin Verrill before being rescued by her brother. But with Verrill having died on Earth - there's certainly no trace of him in the Fleet - who could be left with a grudge against poor Lara, enough to snatch her away?

If you ask this reporter, there could be no-one so heartless and cruel, which leaves only one explanation: whoever's behind all those disappearances on the //Slipstream// has claimed another victim! I for one offer my condolences to the Stryer family for their immeasurable loss.
