Bio: Garry is a member of the Council of the St. Nikolaos. His talent for resolving disagreements peacefully and eagerness to put his technical skills to use helping the fleet have made him well-liked among the civilian population.

The publicly available minutes of the council meetings show that he fervently believes that the fleet's only hope of long-term survival is to keep moving and stay one step (or jump) ahead of the apparitions while the scientists work to better understand them.
