Bio: Ashmi is a Canadian-Indian woman in her late forties. During the escalation she secured cramped quarters aboard an old space station, repurposed as an expensive refuge from the Apparitions. She was eventually taken onto the St Nikolaos. Since arriving in Cargo Bay 2, she has been shocked and invigorated by the living conditions. Perennially likeable and recently inexhaustible, she has now established herself as a well-known figure among the refugees.
